Never Giving Up

Bong worked for 15 yeas as a Distribution Specialist for a multi-national company. However, as many companies have done, down-sizing happened and he was offered an early retirement package. He invested his funds on different businesses which did not turn out as he had hoped. Difficulties came to the family as their finances dwindled. Bong worked hard to look for a new job which became elusive. He became discouraged and felt that no one wanted him. He turned to the Lord in prayer and scripture study. The words "as long as my people keep the commandments, they shall prosper in the land" took a specially meaningful impact on him. He started coming to the Davao Employment Center to use the internet, attend meetings and trainings. He was able to polish his elevator pitch and power statements. An opportunity came up when a national distributor of an internationally branded consumer company called upon him for an interview. He was sharp, ready and raring to go! He nows works with them as an Area Sales Supervisor. He is now hiring...of course through ERC!
